Apart from giving your customers easy access to your Menu, this new update also lets them navigate their Order History and Cart from within the messaging thread - with less typing and more tapping.
How do I activate the Instagram persistent menu?
If you’ve just signed up to launch your store on Instagram, you’re good to go! Your Mini App will already have the latest features to make the IG shopping experience as seamless as possible.
If you’ve already been selling inside Instagram with our Mini App, all you need to do is reactivate by unsubscribing to the IG Mini App and subscribing again. To do this, simply go to the ChatGenie Dashboard, go to your Sales Channel Settings, and click Instagram to unsubscribe and re-subscribe.
If the persistent menu still does not appear, you can start by refreshing your Inbox. If that still doesn’t work, restart the app or update your Instagram.
